Banjooli jest częścią M'Afrique, gamy krzeseł zaprojektowanych przez projektanta i produkowanych przez afrykańskich tkaczy rzemieślniczych przy użyciu przędzy z sieci rybackich. Wszystkie projekty są różne i oryginalne, podobnie jak ich nazwy. Ręcznie tkane, są ludzkie w swojej doskonałości i skazie.

Banjooli to okrągły stół z malowaną stalową podstawą i ręcznie tkanymi kolorowymi nićmi polietylenowymi; na ślizgaczach z PVC.

Sebastian Herkner

Sebastian Herkner urodził się w 1981 roku w Bad Mergentheim. Studiował projektowanie produktu na HfG Offenbach am Main (Uniwersytet Sztuki i Projektowania Offenbach), już podczas studiów skupiając się na projektowaniu przedmiotów i mebli łączących różne konteksty kulturowe, łącząc nowe technologie z tradycyjnym rzemiosłem w celu podkreślenia wieloaspektowego piękna materiałów i ponownie zwrócić uwagę na drobne szczegóły.
Będąc jeszcze studentem, Herkner odbył staż u Stelli McCartney w Londynie, co pomogło mu udoskonalić jego wyczucie materiałów, kolorów, struktur i tekstur. Od momentu założenia własnego studia projektowego w Offenbach am Main w 2006 roku projektuje produkty dla producentów takich jak ClassiCon, De Vorm, Moroso i nanoo, a także pracuje nad projektami wnętrz, wystaw i muzeów. Od 2007 roku prowadził kilka kursów w HfG Offenbach am Main jako wykładowca wizytujący. Jego projekty otrzymały wiele nagród, m.in. 2011 German Design Award w kategorii Newcomer.
