Pedersen, którego twórczość łączy duńską wrażliwość z międzynarodowym spojrzeniem, jako punkt wyjścia dla swojej kreatywności przyjął praktyczne względy projektowania kolekcji kontraktowej. „Moją główną inspiracją dla ostatecznego wyglądu”, wyjaśnia, „była próba znalezienia detali, które mogłyby być spójne w całej kolekcji – w tym przypadku ćwierćkrzywych połączeń i zaokrąglonych profili, zastosowanie niemal wyciętego detalu na górnej części podłokietników”. NEWPORT składa się z bocznego krzesła, fotela, leżaka, stołu jadalnego w dwóch rozmiarach, stolika bocznego, stołka barowego oraz krzesła plażowego z kółkami w dwóch kolorach: antracyt + czarny i perłowoszary + biały.
