Seley to efekt dwuletniej współpracy ze szwajcarskim projektantem Frédéricem Dedelleyem. Oparł swoją koncepcję na podstawowej zasadzie krzeseł horgenglarus, które zostały opracowane w latach dwudziestych XX wieku i nie straciły nic ze swojej aktualności.
W tamtych czasach rama siedziska powstawała z jednego kawałka giętej kantówki, która była tak solidna, że można było do niej mocno przykręcić nogi. W ten sposób powstało krzesło, które nigdy się nie chwieje, nawet pod największym obciążeniem, i jest prawie niezniszczalne. Rozpórki klasycznych krzeseł z giętego drewna nie były już potrzebne.
Seley składa się z minimalnych części, z dwiema przednimi i dwiema tylnymi nogami o kwadratowym przekroju, siedziskiem i oparciem. Jak zwykle u horgenglarusa, rama siedziska i nogi wykonane są z litego drewna. Oparcie i podłokietniki tworzą jeden element wykonany ze sklejki, która jest odkształcana termicznie i cięta, aby uczynić Seley naprawdę wyjątkowym – oparcie i podłokietniki łączą się, tworząc jedną, ergonomicznie zoptymalizowaną skorupę. Pozwala to na różne pozycje siedzące: obszerne siedzisko i organiczne połączenie oparcia i podłokietników bez narożników i krawędzi umożliwia użytkownikowi skręcanie w lewo lub w prawo zgodnie z potrzebami.
