Meander (2021) to modułowy system siedzeń z drewna o organicznym kształcie. Moduły można łączyć, tworząc różnorodne kształty, które zapewniają, że Meander jest w stanie dostosować się do specyficznych warunków w dowolnej przestrzeni. Po ukończeniu Malmstens Linköping University z tytułem licencjata wiosną 2020 roku, Hannes Åström otrzymał zlecenie od firmy Karl Andersson & Söner na zaprojektowanie drewnianego systemu siedzisk, którego modułowa konstrukcja była wystarczająco elastyczna, aby można go było stosować w pomieszczeniach o różnych kształtach i rozmiarach.

Hannes starał się nadać swojemu projektowi spokojny charakter za pomocą delikatnie zakrzywionych poziomych linii, przypominających meandrującą rzekę, która spokojnie płynie przez krajobraz. Stąd nazwa Meander składa się z prostej sofy i ławy, z podłokietnikami lub bez, w trzech różnych długościach, uzupełnionych zakrzywionymi modułami o kątach 45° i 90°. Oparcie sofy podąża za zakrzywionymi wewnętrznymi lub zewnętrznymi liniami sofy. Wszystkie sekcje końcowe są przygotowane tak, aby można je było zakotwić w podłodze. Sekcje sofy i ławy można łączyć i montować za pomocą gniazdek elektrycznych. Do wyboru dąb, jesion, bejce standardowe na jesionie lub biała glazura na dębie lub jesionie. Meander jest dostarczany w stanie zmontowanym.
